Wake Forest’s School of Business and School of Law both placed highly in U.S. News & World Report’s national rankings of graduate schools released March 14.

The School of Business part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs are ranked No. 13 in the nation. Up six spots from last year, this is the fifth year the School has gained in the national rankings, and the highest ranking achieved to date. This is also the eighth consecutive year the School has held the top spot, ranking higher than all other business schools in North Carolina.

“This is a fitting recognition for the remarkable work that our students, faculty, staff, and alumni pursue in support of our exceptional MBA program. This top-ranking placement validates our commitment to delivering a distinctive, market-leading MBA education that helps working professionals enhance their leadership skills and business acumen in impactful ways,” said Charles Iacovou, Sisel Distinguished Dean of the School of Business. “Our graduates and their employers regularly affirm the immense value of our MBA program and the significant impact that it has on their careers. It is truly gratifying to know that the high value of our MBA degree is recognized at a national level.”

The MBA program, designed for working professionals, is offered at Wake Forest’s main campus in Winston-Salem in the evening, and evenings and Saturdays at the University’s Charlotte Center in Uptown.

Up four spots from last year, Wake Forest’s School of Law ranked 36th, tied with Fordham University in New York and the University of Colorado-Boulder. While Wake Forest Law consistently ranks in the top tier law schools, this is the second rise in the rankings in the past two years.

The 2018 edition of the U.S. News and World Report Graduate School Compass and Guidebook will be available in late March. It includes detailed statistical information on more than 1,200 business, law, education, engineering, and medicine graduate programs nationwide.
