Undergraduate orientation begins today

About 1,240 first-year students are moving onto campus today. The new class is made up of 22 percent North Carolinians, 22 percent students of color and 3 percent international students.

University ranks 12th in teaching quality

Wake Forest is ranked 25th among national universities in U.S. News and World Report’s latest rankings of “America’s Best Colleges” and 12th among “schools where the faculty has an unusual commitment to undergraduate teaching.”

It started as a classroom assignment: start your own business with $40 and run it for three days. The result: Wake Wash, launched by seniors Scott Graber, Julie Musgrave and Eleanor Smith, has lasted far more than three days and has liberated fellow students from late-night laundry room duty.
