WFU Orchestra to Host Midnight Halloween Concert

At midnight on Halloween, the Wake Forest University Orchestra will don costumes and perform spooky music in Brendle Recital Hall.

The 12 a.m. concert on Thursday, Oct. 31, will feature the haunted house favorite, Bach’s Toccata in d minor. David Hagy will conduct a surprise-filled concert that also will include Saint-SaÎns’ “Danse Macabre” and selections from Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.”

Admission is free, but tickets must be picked up in advance from the music department office in Scales Fine Arts Center. The office is open Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Audience members are invited to come in costume.
