Wake Forest Symphonic Band to present spring concert

The Wake Forest University Symphonic Band will present its spring concert at 8 p.m. April 15 in Brendle Recital Hall.

Highlights of the band’s program will include Roland Seitz’s “March Grandioso” and Jay Chattaway’s “Parade of the Tall Ships.” The band will also perform Merle Isaac’s arrangement of Reinhold Gliere’s “Russian Sailor’s Dance from the Red Poppy” and several other pieces.

Kevin Bowen, director of bands, and Barbara Trautwein, assistant director of the marching band, will conduct.
