WFU jazz ensemble to give spring concert

Wake Forest University’s jazz ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. April 20 in Brendle Recital Hall.

Admission is free.

Conducted by C. Kevin Bowen, director of bands, the 21-member student ensemble will present a program of jazz tunes that includes Bill Holman’s “Bright Eyes,” “Moten Swing” by Buster and Bennie Moten, and Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies.” The program will also feature Hank Levy’s “Time for a Change.”
