Senior recital to be held at Wake Forest
Soprano Hayden Drass will perform a senior recital at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 in Wake Forest University’s Brendle Recital Hall.
The program will open with “Bester J¸ngling” from “Der Schaupliedirecktor” and “Ach, ich f¸hl’s” from “Die Zawberfl–te” by Mozart. The works of Schubert, Brahms, Gustave Charpentier and Charles FranÁois Gounod will follow. The second half of the program will include “Three Songs of Adieu” by Norman Dello Joio and “Steal Me Sweet Thief” from “The Old Man and the Thief” and “Monica’s Waltz” “The Medium” by Gian Carlo Menotti. The performance will conclude with Giacomo Puccini’s “La Canzone di Doretta” form “La Rondine” and “Quando m’en vo” from “La BohËme.”
Drass is a Wake Forest Presidential Scholar in voice and a student of Teresa Radomski, associate professor of music. Wake Forest pianist Ann Listokin will provide accompaniment.
