Experts on presidential debates to gather at Wake Forest for public forum

ive leading experts on presidential debates from across the country will gather at Wake Forest University for a public forum on Oct. 10, the day before the Oct. 11 presidential debate at the university.

The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Carswell Hall’s Annenburg Forum. The panelists will preview the Wake Forest debate, discuss the place of debates in the political process and talk about historical trends in presidential debates.

The event is free and open to the public. Due to debate preparations, parking will not be available on campus, but a shuttle will provide transportation from a parking lot at the corner of Shorefair Drive and Deacon Boulevard (approximately 1.5 miles from campus). To reach the Shorefair Drive lot if you are traveling south past Wake Forest University on University Parkway, take a left on Reynolds Boulevard, turn right on Shorefair Drive, then turn left into the Shorefair lot. If you are traveling north on University Parkway, turn right on 27th street, then left on Shorefair Drive and right into the Shorefair parking lot. For information, call 336-758-5405.
