Wake Forest to distribute tickets to students, faculty, staff

Wake Forest University has received at least 220 tickets for its students, faculty and staff to attend tonight’s presidential debate in Wait Chapel.

The Commission on Presidential Debates provided the tickets to the university.

The tickets will be distributed to students, faculty and staff who participated in an online university ticket lottery. Each of the ticket winners has already provided information required for security clearance by the Secret Service to attend the debate.

More than 150 of the ticket winners are undergraduates. Other winners include graduate and professional students, and faculty and staff.

The commission also provided tickets for the ticket drawing held by the Office of the Mayor of Winston-Salem.
