Calloway School’s Robin named editor of business education journal

Donald P. RobinDonald P. Robin, J. Tylee Wilson Professor of Business Ethics at Wake Forest University, was recently named editor of the Journal of the Academy of Business Education.

“I am very confident that the journal will rise to new heights under Don’s editorship,” said Jean Heck, president of the Academy of Business Education. “He is an accomplished scholar who brings many talents to the job.”

Robin joined Wake Forest’s Calloway School of Business and Accountancy faculty in 1997. From 1995 to 2000, he was on the editorial review board of “Business Ethics Quarterly.” He was president of the Society for Marketing Advances from 1998 to 2000.

Robin has written two books, “Questions and Answers about Business Ethics: Running an Ethical and Successful Business” and “Marketing: Basic Concepts for Decision Making.” He is also co-author of several books and articles about business ethics and marketing.

He currently teaches “Marketing Research” and “Ethics, Leadership, and the Future of Business,” a course he designed for the Calloway School that enrolls students from all disciplines of the university. Robin is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees.
