Yale chaplain to visit WFU Divinity School

The Rev. Frederick J. Streets, chaplain at Yale University, will lead two programs during his visit to Wake Forest University’s Divinity School March 26-27. His visit is co-sponsored by Winston-Salem State University.

Streets is the first black chaplain to serve at Yale University. He teaches in the divinity school there and is also the senior pastor at the Church of Christ at Yale.

Streets will first speak March 26 at 7 p.m. in WSSU’s Dillard Auditorium inside the Anderson Center. The program, titled “The ‘We’ in ‘We Shall Overcome,’ ” is free and open to the public.

Streets will preach at Wake Forest Divinity School’s weekly chapel service March 27 at 11 a.m. The service will take place in Davis Chapel inside Wingate Hall and is free and open to the public.
