English department to host poetry reading to remember victims of Sept. 11 attacks
Wake Forest University’s English department will host “An Evening of Poetry and Silence” Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m in Tribble Hall’s A.R. Ammons Lounge, Room A-107. The event is part of the Year of Unity and Hope at Wake Forest and is free and open to the public.
Participants are invited to read original poems or favorites by others in remembrance of the victims of the Sept. 11 attack on America. Donations will be taken to help the Red Cross Sept. 11 Fund and the Help Afghan Women Campaign.
