Wake Forest music faculty host ‘Bellini Birthday Bash’

To celebrate the 200th birthday of Italian composer Vincenzo Bellini, Wake Forest University music faculty and voice students will present excerpts from Bellini’s operas at 8 p.m. Nov. 3 in Brendle Recital Hall.

The “Bellini 200th Birthday Bash” concert will feature Teresa Radomski, soprano; Laura Ingram-Moore, soprano; Richard Heard, tenor; and Peter Kairoff, piano. Twenty-two Wake Forest voice students will also perform.

The program will include scenes from “The Pirate,” “The Puritan,” “Norma” and two other Bellini operas.
