Two students to give senior flute recitals at Wake Forest
Wake Forest University seniors Ann Skillman and Genevieve Heckman will present their senior flute recitals in March. Both recitals will be in Brendle Recital Hall inside Scales Fine Arts Center. They are free and open to the public.
Skillman’s March 2 recital at 3 p.m. will feature works by Bela Bartok, Franz Schubert, Wilhelm Popp, Georg Friedrich Handel and Carl Reinedke. Performing with Skillman will be Thomas Turnbull, university piano accompanist, and sophomore Andrew Estel on guitar.
Heckman’s March 24 recital at 3 p.m. will feature works by Robert Schumann, Paul Ben-Haim, Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Claude Bolling. She will be accompanied by senior Jack Zoesch on piano, freshman Zach Collings on drums and freshman Brent Rawls on bass. Ann Listokin, university piano accompanist, will also perform with Skillman.
