WFU choirs to perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ ‘Serenade To Music’

Wake Forest University’s Concert Choir will present a concert featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music” at 8 p.m. on March 20 in Brendle Recital Hall.

The “Serenade to Music” performance will include 12 student soloists. The 47-member mixed ensemble will also sing selections by Bach, Morten Lauridsen and Jeffrey Van. Music by Wake Forest’s Composer-in-Residence Dan Locklair will also be featured.

The choir, directed by Brian Gorelick, will conclude the 60-minute program with a set of folk songs from four different countries.
