Wake Forest University General Counsel J. Reid Morgan has been named vice president by the university.
Beginning July 1, Morgan also assumed responsibilities as secretary of the Wake Forest Board of Trustees and secretary of Wake Forest Health Sciences.
He will continue as general counsel of the university with responsibility for the legal offices on the Reynolda and Bowman Gray campuses.
Morgan received bachelor’s and law degrees from Wake Forest. He has held various staff positions since joining the university in 1979.
