Anthony Aston Players to present “Wisdom Teeth” at WFU

The Anthony Aston Players, a Wake Forest University student theatre group, will present an all-student production of “Wisdom Teeth” Nov. 14 – 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ring Theatre of the Scales Fine Arts Center at Wake Forest.

Written in February 2001 by Wake Forest sophomore J.M. Picard, “Wisdom Teeth” is a tale of true love, relationships, affairs and frustration.

The play, directed by Wake Forest senior Alan English of Cooleemee, is set in Kennebunkport, Maine, and centers on the marital problems of Dolly and Garton Doyle. The Doyles humorously try to avoid divorce as they each unearth the other’s infidelities.

Dolly will be played by junior Katie Rouse from Alpharetta, Ga., and senior Ryan Whitley from Fort Myers, Fla., will play Garton. Nate Stewart of Indian Harbour Beach, Fla.; Lauren Pressley of Greensboro; Melissa Gervasio of Rockville, Md.; and Joey Myers of Boone will join Rouse and Whitley on stage.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $5, $3 for students. For more information, call the Wake Forest Theatre Department at 336-758-5294.
