WFU concert choir to conclude spring concert tour

The Wake Forest University Concert Choir will conclude its 2003 spring concert tour with an at home performance March 20 at 8 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall of the university’s Scales Fine Arts Center. The program is free and open to the public.

Performance selections will feature a variety of sacred and secular works from Ernani Aguiar, Jean Berger, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms and Ariel Ramirez. The choir will also perform selected movements from Jeffrey Van’s “A Procession Winding Around Me,” which the group is recording for an upcoming album of the composer’s guitar and choral works.

The performance will be conducted by Wake Forest associate professor of music Brian Gorelick.
