WFU remembers Sept. 11 with interfaith service
Wake Forest University will hold an interfaith service of remembrance at noon Sept. 11 in Wait Chapel for victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
The simple service of silence, prayer and music will be led by the Rev. Becky Hartzog, the university’s associate chaplain, and the Rev. Jude DeAngelo, the university’s Catholic campus minister. Wake Forest students of different faith traditions will also participate in the service.
The service is sponsored by the university’s Chaplain’s Office. The public is invited. For information, contact the chaplain’s office at 758-5210.
