Advisory: Rescheduled lecture by Bill Rancic set for Nov. 22 at WFU

Bill Rancic, the winner of the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” will give a public lecture at Wake Forest University at 8 p.m. Nov. 22 in Wait Chapel. The lecture will be followed by a book signing in the College Bookstore located near the chapel.

Rancic, who is promoting his new book, “You’re Hired: How to Succeed in Business and Life from the Winner of ‘The Apprentice,'” will speak about his time on the show, his business and the secret for his personal and professional success. Today, the 32-year-old is working for the Trump Organization and overseeing the construction of the new Trump Tower in Chicago.

Rancic was originally scheduled to visit Wake Forest Oct. 13. That appearance was canceled because of an unexpected professional commitment.

The event is co-sponsored by the Student Union and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Studies.

Tickets already purchased for the October appearance will be honored for the Nov. 22 appearance. Tickets are $10 general admission; $5 for Wake Forest students. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Benson University Center Ticket Office at 336-758-4265 or they can be purchased at the door.
