Museum of Anthropology holds annual Holiday Shop Sale
Wake Forest University’s Museum of Anthropology will hold its annual Holiday Shop Sale Nov. 29-Dec.17.
The museum shop carries a selection of handcrafted items from around the world, including Native American jewelry, handmade Christmas ornaments from Peru, organic honey from Mexico, leather purses and terra cotta foot scrubbers from India, and assorted carvings, boxes and toys. Gift certificates are available.
This year’s sale also features a wide range of stocking stuffers such as hand-held thumb pianos, hand-blown glass animals, toe rings, children’s rings and bracelets and woven straw snakes from Ecuador.
Jewelry from Africa, Asia and the Middle East is also available.
The museum is located on the Wake Forest campus behind Kentner Stadium.
On all purchases $5 and up, museum members will receive a 25 percent discount and Wake Forest students, faculty and staff will receive a 10 percent discount.
Museum hours during the sale are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
