By E.J. Dionne | Washington Post Opinions
In this opinion piece, E.J. Dionne refers to leadership and character scholar Michael Lamb’s book, “A Commonwealth of Hope,” as a fascinating revisionist view of the political thought of St. Augustine. “Lamb highlights the high cost of despair in politics, which he argues ‘can license apathy or fatalism, encouraging citizens to withdraw from politics rather than stretch toward difficult political goods,’” writes Dionne. – 7/09/2023

By Tanya D. Marsh | Law.com
“There is actually very little federal law regarding the dead,” writes law professor Tanya Marsh. “The most significant is the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule, which requires funeral homes to provide certain disclosures to consumers.
