John I. Durham, a Biblical scholar, will present a talk entitled “Celebrating Rembrandt” at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.
In Scales Fine Arts Center, Room 102, Durham will discuss Rembrandt’s life. He will use slides to illustrate his lecture, which will be followed by a brief question-and-answer session.
Durham, a 1955 Wake Forest graduate, has previously lectured about Rembrant at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is also the author of “Art and the Christian Faith,” published by the North Carolina Museum of Art.
The lecture is sponsored by the Wake Forest University Chaplain’s Office.
