Wake Forest Choral Union to perform

Wake Forest University Choral Union will present a concert April 16 at 3 p.m. in the university’s Brendle Recital Hall.

The 30-voice mixed ensemble will sing choral music representing various categories including choral classics, masterpieces from choral history, contemporary and lighter styles. The composers featured are Handel, Paul Fetler, Thomas Tallis, Vivaldi, Williametta Spencer, Daniel Pinkham, Vincent Persichetti, James Mulholland and Andre Thomas.

Brian Gorelick, associate professor of music, will conduct the performance. Staff pianist Joanne Inkman will provide accompaniment.
