For most high school students, learning happens one individual discipline at a time. But in the world outside the classroom, finding solutions to challenges requires looking across disciplines. Building for tomorrow: Students join forces to build Ugandan schools
In the spirit of Pro Humanitate, a group of students have created a Wake Forest chapter of Building Tomorrow. WAKE TV goes national
Opportunities for students interested in film direction and production have grown at Wake Forest, both in and out of the classroom. Medical school study looks at fat, sleep
Not getting enough sleep may lead to more problems than just a lack of energy. It also could lead to an increase in fat accumulating around vital organs, according to a study by researchers at the School of Medicine.

Professor waits to hear from Chile
Professor Peter Siavelis, who used to live in Chile, is waiting to hear if former colleagues there are safe after a massive earthquake hit the country on Saturday. The University is not aware of any faculty or students who were in the country at the time of the earthquake.
