Join the summer business ‘boot camp’

Parents: Encourage your student to go to “boot camp” this summer. The Summer Management Program provides students with valuable business skills in an intensive summer session. From being a team player to learning how to interview, this five-week “business boot camp” elevates a student’s liberal arts education to a whole new playing field, increasing their marketability in today’s highly competitive job market. Students receive 8 hours of course credit.

Making sense of new financial aid rules

Director of Financial Aid Bill Wells will be on NPR’s Diane Rehm Show on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until noon to talk about changes in student loan programs. As part of the healthcare legislation, the federal government will directly issue student loans, eliminating private lenders as middlemen.
