Jordan returns to practice

"This was the best day of my coaching career -- by far," said Walter. "Just to see him back out here and doing what he loves to do. This is what this has always been about."

Former WFU golfer wins Cup

Bill Haas Former Wake Forest golfer Bill Haas won the Tour Championship in a playoff against Hunter Mahan, giving Haas the FedEx Cup and a combined $11.44 million. Another former Deacon, Webb Simpson, finished second in the FedEx Cup standings.

Former Deacon wins PGA tourney

Webb Simpson Former Wake Forest All-American Webb Simpson shot a bogey-free final round 67 at the Wyndham Championship on Sunday to claim his first PGA Tour victory. Simpson shot rounds of 66-65-64-67 to finish at 18-under par.
