Fashion Show To Benefit Breast Cancer Services
The Panhellenic Council at Wake Forest University will present a fall fashion show on Sunday, Oct. 6, to raise funds for Breast Cancer Services Inc. of Forsyth County.
The fashion show is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Benson University Center, Room 401. An English tea reception will begin at 2 p.m. with coffee, juice, pastries and sandwiches.
Students belonging to campus sororities will model casual clothing from the Gap, career wear from Ann Taylor and Banana Republic, and formal wear from Nitsa’s Apparel.
Tickets cost $10 and must be reserved in advance. For more information, call 759- 6078.
The Panhellenic Council has organized the fashion show as one of several events to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Later this month, sorority members will distribute pink ribbons and shower cards with instructions about breast exams.
