Faculty Retrospective to Open at WFU Gallery

A retrospective exhibition featuring the work of Wake Forest University art department faculty opens Friday, Nov. 8, in the Wake Forest Fine Arts Gallery.

Paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, mixed-media and film completed by faculty members in the past ten years are included.

The opening reception runs from 7-9 p.m. A 16mm film projection performance by gallery director Victor Faccinto will begin at 8:30 p.m. in Scales Fine Arts Center, Room 102.

Paintings by Page Laughlin, sculpture by David Finn, mixed-media paintings by Alix Hitchcock, drawings by Lea Lackey-Zachmann, intaglio prints by David Faber and wood sculptures by Robert Knott are included.

The exhibit ends Jan. 29, 1997.

Admission to the reception and exhibit is free. Gallery hours are weekdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; weekends 1-5 p.m. For information, call 759-5585.
