Moot Court Team Advances to National Competition

A team of Wake Forest University law school students won the 47th Annual National Moot Court regional competition on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 in Richmond, Va., advancing the team to the national finals.

The competition featured teams from 22 schools including the University of Virginia, Duke University and the University of North Carolina.

Team members Rebecca Bartholomew, Sean Cole and John Spargur were led by their advisor, Charles Rose Jr., a Wake Forest law professor. Spargur also won the best oralist award during the competition.

Another Wake Forest team finished in the quarterfinals.
