Chi Rho Presents Annual Concert
Chi Rho, the 12-member men’s a capella chorus that performed at the White House and released its third album earlier this year, will perform its annual concert 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Brendle Recital Hall.
The free concert by the all-male Christian group will include selections from their new compact disc, “All That I Have,” dramatic sketches and testimony. The performance will be the group’s last concert before beginning a four-city tour in California May 10-17.
Comprised of Wake Forest University students, the group takes its name from the first two letters of the Greek spelling of “Christ” and from the Greek symbol “XP” at the center of the Wake Forest University seal.
Chi Rho was formed seven years ago and has performed at churches and universities across the country, including appearances in Atlanta, Houston and at the White House in Washington, D.C.
