Ravi Shankar Will Not Perform at Wake Forest
Sitarist Ravi Shankar has canceled his performance with Wake Forest University’s 1997-98 Secrest Artists Series.
Shankar had been scheduled to perform Oct. 2. According to his publicist, he has had to reduce the number of concerts he does this year due to his age and failing health.
