The Commission on Presidential Debates has announced that it will provide new information regarding press credentials for upcoming debates, including one at Wake Forest University, in late summer.
On its Web site (www.debates.org), the commission states, “The notice for press credentials will not go out until July 31, 2000.” The information will be posted on commission and U.S. Senate Press Gallery Web sites, as well as the AP, UP and Reuters wire services.
A presidential debate will be held in Wake Forest’s Wait Chapel on Oct. 11.
