Tickets go on sale March 2 for Andrew Peterson’s March 23 concert at Wake Forest University. The concert is part of the contemporary Christian rock band’s “Carried Along” tour and will be held at 8 p.m. in Benson University Center.
Band members are Andrew Peterson on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Peterson on background vocals, and Gabe Scott on background vocals and guitar. The group’s newest album is titled, “Carried Along.” Three songs from the Watershed Records release have debuted in the top 10 on Soundscan’s Adult Contemporary sales chart.
Other bands on Watershed Records’ parent label, Essential Records, include Jars of Clay, Caedmon’s Call and Third Day.
Tickets will be $5 in advance by calling 336-758-4869. They will cost $7.50 on the day of the show. Proceeds will go to the 30-Hour Famine service project that Wake Forest students hold annually to raise money for hunger relief.
