Divinity School Dean Bill Leonard to appear on UNC-TV’s ‘N.C. People’
Bill Leonard, dean of the Wake Forest University Divinity School, will appear on UNC-TV’s “North Carolina People with William Friday” on Oct. 19 at 8:30 p.m., and Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The interview was taped at Wake Forest.
During his interview, Leonard speaks about how the Divinity School strives to prepare students for the ministry and related professions. He also talks about how the school’s curriculum addresses national religious trends such as the clergy shortage faced by some denominations and the nation’s greater focus on ecumenism.
Friday also asked Leonard to talk about how the events of Sept. 11 have affected Divinity School students, and the future of the ministerial professions in America.
