Anthony Aston Players to present ‘Boys Next Door’ Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at WFU

Wake Forest University’s student theater group, the Anthony Aston Players, will perform “The Boys Next Door” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in the Ring Theatre inside Scales Fine Arts Center.

Written by Tom Griffin, “The Boys Next Door” tells the story of Jack, a female social worker played by senior Erin Wade, who works in a group home with mentally disabled men played by Scotty Candler, Lee Briggs, Matt Johnson and Mike Albanese. Rounding out the cast are Moira Dennis, Caroline Clear, George Graves, Meagan Hooper, Mike Wellens and Joey Mertes.

Hillary Heard directs the student cast and Sarah Wynne is the stage manager.

The set designer for the production is Matthew Fuller, and Susan Martin is the light designer. Tiffany Neeham and Jessica Sams designed the costumes. Albanese is the sound director.

Ticket prices are $5; $3 for students.
