Artists to give slide lectures at Wake Forest

Two artists who are part of the “North Carolina Arts Council Artist Fellowship Exhibition” on display at Wake Forest University will give slide lectures about their art this month. Both events are free and are open to the public. They will take place in Scales Fine Arts Center where the exhibit is on display in the Charlotte and Philip Hanes Art Gallery.

Wood sculptor Bob Troutman of Casar will speak on Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. in Room 103. Winston-Salem artist Terri Dowell-Dennis will speak about her mixed media sculpture on Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. in Room 9.

Both events are supported by a grant from the North Carolina Arts Council. For more information, call 336-758-5585.
