John Boles, editor of the Journal of Southern History, will present “What’s New About the Old South: Reinterpreting the Past” at 7 p.m. on March 5 in Tribble Hall’s DeTamble Auditorium.
Boles is also the William Pettus Hobby Professor of History at Rice University.
The talk, sponsored by the Wake Forest history department, is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
