Wake Forest University has named Anne Boyle director of women’s studies. Boyle, professor of English at Wake Forest, joined the faculty in 1986.
Boyle is a graduate of Wilkes College and received her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Rochester. During her time at Wake Forest, she has received the Reid-Doyle Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Omicron Delta Kappa Award for Contributions to Student Life, among other honors.
She begins the appointment immediately.
