Sound clips from New York Mayor Bloomberg’s WFU address to be available online
Broadcast-quality sound clips from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s May 19th commencement address at Wake Forest University will be available for radio stations to download and broadcast that afternoon. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m.
The Wake Forest News Service will post several sound clips from Bloomberg’s speech on the News Service Web site, www.wfu.edu/wfunews. The clips will be in .wav format, and will be available by noon.
Bloomberg, mayor of New York City and founder of the financial services and news media company Bloomberg L.P., will also receive an honorary doctor of laws degree during the outdoor ceremony. Approximately 1,456 students – 835 undergraduate, 621 graduate and professional – will graduate.
