Computer science to host open house, exhibition Feb. 12

The computer science department at Wake Forest will host an open house and software exhibition Feb. 12 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the department’s newly remodeled and renamed West Hall in the Calloway Center for Business, Mathematics and Computer Science. The event is open to all Wake Forest students, faculty and staff.

Tours of the new facility will be given every 15 minutes, beginning at 3:30 p.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m. The tours will feature demonstration s of game programs, robotics, computer architecture, digital art, fractals, applications in satellite image enhancement and programs using the Linux cluster of parallel computers. Students who take the tour will be eligible for door prizes. Refreshments will be provided.
