Wake Forest University has named Michelle Adkins director of the newly- established environmental health and safety department for the Reynolda Campus.
Adkins comes to Wake Forest after eight years of experience in the field of environmental and safety compliance. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in geography with a concentration in environmental science from Radford University in 1997. Adkins is a graduate of Piedmont Triad Safety School and holds several environmental health and safety certifications.
The environmental health and safety department will assist in providing for the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and the general public by working to achieve and maintain university compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
