Advisory: Local student returns from India, available for interview

Thirty-seven Wake Forest University students traveled on three overseas trips to volunteer among the poor during their winter break. A resident of your area, who traveled with the university’s City of Joy Scholars Program in Calcutta, India, will return Jan. 9. The student will be available for a telephone interview following the group’s return to Wake Forest.

While in Calcutta, eleven students helped the Missionaries of Charity by changing beds, bathing patients, cleaning wards and feeding and comforting the sick and dying.
