Advisory: “Apprentice” winner Bill Rancic speaks at WFU

Bill Rancic, the first-season winner of NBC’s hit reality show “The Apprentice,” will speak about the secret of his personal and professional success at 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Wake Forest in Benson University Center.

The lecture will be followed by a book signing in the College Bookstore located near the chapel. Rancic is promoting his book, “You’re Hired: How to Succeed in Business and Life from the Winner of ‘The Apprentice.'”

Rancic was originally scheduled to visit Wake Forest Oct. 13. His visit was postponed twice due to scheduling conflicts.

The event is co-sponsored by the university’s Student Union and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Studies.

Tickets already purchased for Rancic’s previously scheduled appearances will be honored for the Jan. 26 appearance. Tickets are $10 general admission; $5 for Wake Forest students. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Benson University Center Ticket Office at 336-758-4265 or at the door.
