She has been a speaker for The Capitol Children’s Museum of Washington, D.C., and regularly works with the United States Holocaust Museum, where her testimony appeared in the 1995 exhibit titled “Liberation.”

Godin has received numerous awards, including the “Myrth Wreath” by Hadassah Council, the Elie Wiesel Holocaust Remembrance medal, and awards from both the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency.

Her life story has appeared in several publications, including The Washingtonian Magazine and Scholastic News. She has also appeared on television and radio programs, including “In Memory of Millions,” hosted by Walter Cronkite; “Beyond Hate” with Bill Moyers; and “Tolerance in America.”
