The grant award honors Museum of Anthropology volunteer and American Express employee Tyler Cox. Cox is employee communications manager at the American Express Service Center in Greensboro. He serves on the advisory board for the Museum of Anthropology.

“The grant will support the museum’s work with local school children, Wake Forest students and the general public,” said Stephen Whittington, director of the Wake Forest Museum of Anthropology.

The fund was established in 1994 to recognize the contributions of American Express employees who volunteer in their communities. Since 1994, more than $4.5 million has been contributed to support employee volunteer efforts.
