WFU Anthony Aston Players present ‘Proof’

The Anthony Aston Players, Wake Forest University’s student theatre group, will present the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play “Proof” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2-4 in the Ring Theatre of Scales Fine Arts Center.

Written by David Auburn, “Proof” is the story of four people — an enigmatic young woman named Catherine, her manipulative sister, their brilliant father and an unexpected suitor — who are in search of the truth behind a mysterious mathematical proof.

Anthony Aston productions are designed and staged entirely by Wake Forest students. The performance is directed by Alyssa Biber and stage-managed by Katharine McEnery. The cast stars Emily Johnson, Jon Furr, Katherine Thompson and Mike Discepolo.

Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults (cash only) and are available at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
