Wake Forest ranked on Peace Corps’ list of top schools

On the Peace Corps’ 2006 list of top-producing colleges and universities, Wake Forest University ranked 11th among schools with fewer than 5,000 undergraduates.

The annual list highlights the institutions with the most alumni currently serving as Peace Corps volunteers. Wake Forest currently has 20 alumni serving. Since the Peace Corps’ inception, 167 Wake Forest alumni have joined the ranks of the Peace Corps.

Last year, Wake Forest was ranked 22nd in its category with 17 alumni serving as Peace Corps volunteers.
