Remembering Porter Byrum
Because of the generosity of Porter B. Byrum (JD ’42) — an attorney, businessman, philanthropist and Wake Forest alumnus — hundreds of students have had the opportunity for a Wake Forest education. Today the Wake Forest community remembers Byrum, whose lifetime giving to the University totaled more than $50 million.
