WFU to hold 9/11 remembrance events
Wake Forest University will hold two events on Tuesday, Sept. 11 to remember the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
At 6 a.m., members of the Wake Forest Military Science Department and ROTC will climb 2,997 stairs at BB&T Field to pay tribute to each victim of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The Climb to Remember event is free and open to the public.
At 12:15 p.m. in Davis Chapel, Wake Forest will hold an interfaith service of prayer and remembrance to honor those lost and pray for survivors who were greatly affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The 9/11 Service of Remembrance, sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain, is open to the public. Members of the Wake Forest University Army ROTC will post colors during the event.
