Wake Forest faculty woodwind quintet to perform Jan. 22

The Wake Forest University faculty woodwind quintet, Opus 5, will perform at 8 p.m. Jan. 22 in Wake Forest’s Brendle Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will feature the Debussy “Quartet Opus 10”, transcribed by bassoonist Mark Popkin. They will also perform “Three Short Pieces” by Jacques Ibert and “Quartet No. 1” by Charles Ives.

The members of Opus 5 are Kathryn Levy, flute; Steve Jones, oboe; Linda Julian, clarinet; Jon Julian, bassoon; and Robert Campbell, horn.
